Just want you to know how much our whole family admires you. For our 40th annivesary (while you were still with the Packers) our kids gave us a black Miniature Schnauzer who, without hesitation, we named Nate (our last name is also Wayne). He wears a Packer collar and we all wear #54 Packer jerseys. We miss seeing you at Lambeau Field. Happy New Year!

Two quick questions from a diehard Eagles fan that just moved from Philly to SD. 1. How are the injuries coming, and will you be back at 100% for the playoffs? 2. What effect if any will the starters sitting the last 2 games have? I think it helps keep them fresh and healthy, but everyone on TV thinks otherwise. Give me a players perspective. Hey Nate! I'm in 8th grade and I'm working on a school report. I was wondering if you could help me. What are some advantages and disadvantages of being a professional athlete?
What kind of education would be helpful as an athlete? How do you get to an away game?
How many years must you play to have a pension and what does it give?
What do you do in the off season? How do you prepare for a game? Do you have an agent? What do they do for you? How long and how often do you practice? On game day when do you have to be there? During the off season how many hours a week do you prepare for the seanson? Thanks for your help.

Hi Brad, I see that you have a lot of questions. By being a professional athlete you a career in doing something that you dreamed about doing when you were a kid, you get to meet different people and build new relationship. The one disadvantage that I have a problem with is that most people don't take athlete serious, they only look at you as a football, basketball, or baseball player. There is no specific education for an athlete just attaining a College Degree will be good enough. You must have 4 credited season to receive your pension in the NFL.
