Nate, you are certainly a welcome addition to our Eagles. Your play on the field has been great. More importantly, you as a man off the field is inspiring. We're glad you're here. Keep playing hard and take care of that hip. Go Birds!

Q)
Hey Nate! Looking forward to seeing you and the rest of the Eagle's D make Pennington wish he was out for another week. Hope your hip is feeling better. I was wondering if you could tell me anything about Greg Lewis ? He seems like a pretty personable guy from the video I just watched, but what can we expect him to bring to the passing game if he gets some time? I know you don't play offense, but you must at least get a look at him in practice? Especially since a 2nd/3rd stringer like him would probably be some on sort of scout team working against the starting d. (I'm guessing it works that way in the NFL too)Anyway, good luck sunday.

What's up Brett. The only thing I can say about Greg Lewis is that he is fast and if we can get the ball to him he can make something happen. A lot of the guys on defense are talking good about him.

Nate ... Scott here from Australia. It is great to see how you have fitted in with the, and made better, the Eagle D. Can't wait to see guys flyin' round when Dawk gets back. Great Job against the Giants, good luck (hope you play) against the Jets.

Q)
Nate, great pull through win against those giants. Big ups to you and the eagles defense. It seems the defensive part of the team is clicking it is just a shame we cannot say the same about the offense. Tell Westbrook to stay focused because right now he is the teams offense. You turned out to be a huge part of the defense, green bay's loss and our gain. I'd like to see you in the probowl so keep up the tackling pace. Good luck and stay healthy. Your buddy from Lowe's, Steve Coveleski. p.s. My brother and I thank you for the gifts, it is nice to see players giving the fans some attention. :)

Thanks Steve. We will take it one game at a time and turn our season around. The offense will get in a groove starting against the Jets.

Q)
Hey, Nate...good to hear you're fighting through the injury. I was at the game last Sunday and was watching as the Giants started picking up some momentum. I turned to the person I was with and said "We could use a fumble about now," and on the very next play, you landed that hit on Shockey and knocked the ball free for Whiting to pick up. I made similar comments right before Simoneau stripped Collins in the red zone, and right before Westbrook ran back that punt. I thought the Giants fans were gonna fillet me. Thanks for making me look sharper than Miss Cleo!

Well Don it seems to me that you need to continue making comments like that all the way to the SuperBowl.

Nate - had another question that I forgot to ask you - What was it like to meet Reggie White when he came to visit NovaCare? Was he in Green Bay when you were there?
--george hassel, troy, NY

It was nice to Reggie come and visit us but I have been knowing him since 2000. I didn't get the honor to play with him in Green Bay. He is a true legend.

Q)
Nate, week in and week out you guys do the job on D. This week you showed that the Birds have an answer to Shockey, and that's Bump. I give you guys a ton of credit for how hard you work, and then on top of that, you all play with a lot of class and sportsmanship. Good luck this week, get your hip healed up, and tell Donovan and Dawkins we are pulling for them. As always we're 100% behind you.

Thanks George for your concern. My hip is getting better every day and I'm feeling confident about playing this week.
